Dog Crate,
The crate was exactly what I wanted and needed. I have two mini dachshund puppies. I put the divider in the middle and use the side door which gives me two smaller areas for crate training. They immediately took to the new home. During the night or when we’re away we separate them, but otherwise leave the door open and they’ll either go to their own side or often cuddle together. I understand the concerns others have posted, but for out purposes it’s perfect.

|My cat loves this cage,
I have a cat and a balcony. She loves to sit by the door and take in the sun. She also likes to chitter at birds and while some of my neighbors let their cats out on their balconies, I am fearful she will see a bird, not think about it and take a leap.
I figured I’d buy a cage and when I’m sitting outside, I can put her in there so she can hang out, catch some sun, watch the birds yet remain safe. When I saw this is 30 inches, I thought it may be too small. I wanted something that she could walk around in and not feel confined like she does in a carrier. I took a chance and this cage is plenty big! I set it up in the living room the day I got it and guess what? It’s still there. Why you ask? Because she went right in and plopped.
Of course, since she runs the place, I had to ensure her comfort so when she exited, I put a down throw in the bottom and now she sleeps in there every day so I don’t have the heart to fold it up and wait for warmer weather.
I gave it four stars because I’m not sure that this would be the best thing for a very active puppy. It does not feel like it would hold in a dog that was constantly jumping around and pawing at the cage. There is a little give to it. I don’t have a dog so I can’t say for sure but other reviewers have mentioned that it’s really not strong enough and will bend and warp if used for a dog.

|Not a fan of the metal pan,
This crate is easy to assemble and sturdy enough for my 14lb chihuahua mix. The “deluxe” metal tray however leaves much to be desired. The bottom sheet bows up in the center, so every time my dog walks on it, it makes a loud warping noise that scares her. I’ll need to buy a plastic replacement tray.
