I should have known that this pack was so cheaply made!!
After two short hikes (less than 6 hours total), the straps were ripping. My dog was carrying almost very little gear (my keys, a small camera, doggie bags) too. During the hike it would slide all around (too loose?), but it was rubbing her fur off (too tight in some spots).
This is cheap – google “best dog packs” and invest a little bit more in a good pack!

Took this pack on a 4 mile hike on my 75 pound golden doodle. It fell apart. Initially just one strap broke…I repaired that with a sewing kit. Then another broke and it just fell apart. The design is flawed. Don’t buy it.

We went on 2 hikes with our German Sheppard mix he is about 80 pounds and the tummy strap would not even fit on the shortest setting (it was large but but should have been XL). At the same time the chest strap was just right, and after 2 hikes the chest strap ripped off. Going to try something more expensive this time.
